Strengthening Culture and Brand Identity
For Vibes, refreshing their workplace was about much more than an aesthetic update. The company sought an environment that would not only feel modern and visually exciting but also serve as a cultural anchor, connecting people more deeply to the brand and to each other.
HED partnered closely with the Vibes team to understand how the company works, how it wants to be perceived, and how the physical environment could amplify both.
The design process began with workplace strategy to identify how space could foster stronger connections, provide flexibility, and elevate the daily experience. Layout decisions prioritized collaboration and visibility, supporting the energy and creativity of Vibes’ culture. Materials and finishes were chosen to complement, not compete with, the bold presence of the company’s brand graphics, creating an environment where design and identity work in harmony rather than in layers.
Experiential graphics became a unifying element, extending the brand beyond logos and colors into a fully immersive narrative. From the moment visitors step into the elevator lobby, they are greeted by floor-to-ceiling supergraphics that establish a clear sense of arrival and belonging. Custom elevator call lights add a playful, branded detail that reinforces identity at an intimate, tactile level. These visuals are intentional extensions of Vibes’ voice, scaled to architectural proportions.
As employees and guests move deeper into the space, the story continues. A large Chicago skyline graphic on the bridge connects the company’s national presence back to its local roots, while a client celebration wall honors the relationships that fuel the business. These layered experiences create cohesion, carrying the energy of the brand through circulation paths, gathering spaces, and work zones. The result is a workplace where every design decision, from interior architecture to visual storytelling, reinforces a single narrative of innovation and pride.
By thoughtfully integrating workplace strategy, interior design, and experiential graphics, HED transformed the Vibes office into a three-dimensional expression of the brand. It is a space that celebrates identity while empowering people, inviting them to see themselves not just as employees within an office, but as essential contributors to the ongoing story of the company.
