Michael Cooper Receives ACEC Distinguished Service Award

HED President Michael Cooper, PE, MBA, FACEC, LEED AP, received the ACEC Distinguished Service Award during the American Council of Engineering Companies’ Annual Convention and Legislative Summit.

Presented by ACEC National, the Distinguished Service Award recognizes individuals whose leadership and long-standing contributions have helped shape both the organization and the broader engineering profession. Cooper was honored during the convention’s welcome dinner, where peers and industry leaders gathered to acknowledge his impact on the Council and the field at large.

As President of HED, Cooper has helped advance an integrated approach to design that brings architecture and engineering into closer alignment, strengthening collaboration across disciplines and markets. His leadership within ACEC reflects a sustained commitment to the future of the profession and to the people and communities it serves.
